Hace casi 40 días que la Directiva del América comenzó a negociar el pase de Montenegro. Por aquellos días también se dio la, hasta hoy, única charla entre Chucho y el Rolfi. Sí, están clarísimas las intenciones por parte del club de cuidar al jugador.

Tras la reunión final de hoy, se supo. Jaime Ordiales, manager de las Águilas, hizo formal la oferta. Sin sorpresas. Al Rojo le quedan 3.500.000 dólares limpios, como se conversó. «Espero que este dinero sirva para que al Tolo le traigan los refuerzos», comentó el Rolfi antes de emprender el regreso hacia Buenos Aires.
