AME 2-0 CAZ | Con Cabañas es otro equipo

En el futbol lo más difícil es hacer las cosas fáciles. Por primera vez en el torneo Ramón Díaz inició el partido con la alineación lógica y los jugadores ubicados en su posición natural. El resultado fue la mejor exhibición americanista desde que el Pelado tomó al equipo.

Durante nueve jornadas vimos alineaciones extrañas y esquemas inexplicables bajo el argumento de que el técnico seguía en busca del equipo ideal, lo curioso es que era el equipo que casi todos teníamos en mente desde la jornada 1. Por supuesto con el regreso de Rojas y Cabañas se redondea mucho más el cuadro titular, pero estas ausencias no explicaban ver a Castro por la izquierda, al debutante Lampros en la defensa o a Rafael Márquez como delantero principal.

En resumen, a Ramón le tomó diez partidos y dos meses encontrar no la mejor alienación, sino la única que tiene. La mayor contradicción es que a pesar de tener un plantel muy corto, el América es el equipo que más jugadores ha utilizado en lo que va del Apertura, lo que ya de por sí es un dato que explica en mucho el torneo que hemos tenido. No había por qué ensayar tantas modificaciones porque esto necesariamente traería consigo un alto grado de confusión, sino que había que irse por la más simple. Jugar con cuatro defensas, no carrileros porque no los hay. Ubicar a los laterales de acuerdo a su perfil, así como en la central iniciar con quien mejor haya jugado, o para decirlo de otra manera, quienes se hayan equivocado menos y ellos son Sánchez e Ismael. La media cancha formarla de manera en que Insúa tuviera un lugar y una posición libre para generar juego ofensivo. Los dueños de estos puestos están más o menos claros, suponiendo que Germán Villa ocuparía el lugar que Argüello tomó luego de la suspensión del capitán. Y adelante no hay mucha ciencia, Cabañas y Moreno por futbol y jerarquía son los titulares. Después no hay mucho más, Esqueda y Sebastián Domínguez luchando por un lugar mientras el resto están condenados a ser suplentes casi de forma permanente.

Ya con el equipo, ahora sí es posible mejorar en la cancha, siempre bajo la idea de buscar los partidos partiendo de la posesión del balón. De esta manera aumentan las posibilidades de sumar puntos, ganar partidos y aumentar la confianza del equipo. Ahí está la verdadera importancia de este triunfo, en que ya hay una base como para pensar en subir otros escalones, no sabemos cuánto tiempo tardará o para qué alcanzará, pero ahora sí se puede ver otro panorama.

Esto no significa engañarse, el América sigue sumido en el último lugar del grupo y sin involucrarse demasiado con lo hecho por el rival, estaríamos equivocados si no tomamos en cuenta que pesó más lo que dejó de hacer Cruz Azul que lo que mejoró el América. No podemos decir que el América jugó bien porque mentiríamos, ni que los goles fueron producto de un juego colectivo, pero también sería una mentira si no aceptamos que el equipo mejoró en prácticamente todos los aspectos, controló el partido de principio a fin y ganó con justicia. Contra San Luis por ejemplo, no vimos nada de esto, lo que no permitía esperanzarse con ver alguna mejora. Ahora sí podemos hacerlo, sin engañarnos, pero podemos darnos la licencia de imaginar mejores actuaciones del equipo en las próximas jornadas.

Todos los jugadores mostraron un nivel muy parejo, quizá con actuaciones sobresalientes como la de Cabañas, o algunas muy reconfortantes como las de Ismael Rodríguez y el Gringo Castro, pero en general todos tuvieron un buen trabajo y sería ocioso abundar en los defectos americanistas cuando fueron mucho menores a comparación de juegos anteriores. Ahora sí el equipo se ganó, cuando menos, el beneficio de la duda esperando al siguiente encuentro para determinar si efectivamente hay síntomas de mejorar lo hecho hasta ahora.

La última consideración tiene que ver con el cambio que sufre el equipo cuando está Salvador Cabañas. Sin duda la transformación es total, lo que también confirma las limitaciones del plantel que por sí solos y a falta de un hombre no pueden elevar el nivel colectivo. Confiemos en que Cabañas no tenga malas tardes y pueda ser el motor de un equipo que hasta hoy, sigue siendo de lo más flojo del campeonato.

Un dato final. En su paso por San Lorenzo de Almagro, en un año y medio, Ramón Díaz jamás repitió alineación en partidos consecutivos, detalle al que me cuesta darle algún tipo de lectura, pero seguro nos ayudará a comprender algunas decisiones que tome el técnico, así como entender su forma de proceder aunque no necesariamente estemos de acuerdo con ella.

Respecto al tema de la asistencia, fue sin duda una de las más bajas que he presenciado en este tipo de partidos sumada al elevado porcentaje de público visitante. Esto es un reflejo del malestar que se vive dentro del americanismo y el cual debe ser atendido de inmediato por la Directiva si es que en verdad les duele ver situaciones de este tipo en nuestra propia casa.
